Life At The Cottage    Your Host Sheila Meade   I, just recently, have had the opportunity to move back home to Texas with my wonderful husband, Tim and our two kids Matthew and Taylor. They are the true "light" at The Cottage.   I was born and raised in a very creative family. My nana quilts, my grandmother designs floral arrangements, my papa gardens, and my grandfather is a carpenter, so a crafty heart was inevitable for me. My biggest love, however, was instilled in me through my mother, who paints. Although I painted many years for fun, I did not take painting seriously until I married and had kids of my own. With the support (and a kick in the rear) from a dear friend, I started crafting and painting items from my home to sell at local craft shows. Three years later, with my family cheering me on, I decided to try my hand at designing my own craft patterns. I then began advertising in "Country Marketplace" to expose my products to a broader market. The response was great!
